Let's see. Yesterday, Sunday, Konor woke at 4am..ugh..so was a tiring morning. We left the dog, Azezal with sarah and went to south side and got me a used tracfone for now. Then went to get minutes for it at Target, and found a nicer phone really cheap, so just bought that. I registered it online and said it'd take 24hrs..well, it's more than than now, so called and had to put in a bunch of codes. Now waiting still, tho it says I have minutes.I still don't know my phone number..shoulda just stuck w/T Mobile to go phone I guess??

Anyway, after Target, we walked over to Petsmart and bought a nice leather lead and some other things.

Then went back home and put kids in stroller and walked to big spring park for panoply:

Konor did great..but Zily was a major butt most of the time...and we were all starving and the food was at other gate. Saw some nice art and yard stuff tho.

Oh, what else did we do?? I helped todd lift the plasma up above fireplace, that was a pain..

Today Konor had school, and after we went to old house and I finished vacuuming and loaded van w/a few boxes of baby clothes I'm not willing to part with yet. and the cleaning stuff.

Sis showed up and soon after so did the rescue mission. It was near 90, yuk..summer is here...and lil konor/zily helped lug stuff up drive to truck. Konor esp...he told me "mama, my head is wet" lol..he was sweating!
I feel so much better knowing that someone can use and buy the stuff we donated, cheap...and that didn't just end up in a landfill.

Sis gave us some jello dessert stuff she made. I didn't have any, Konor had some..said he liked, but didn't eat much..Now Zily on other hand had two bowls full! And she didn't even make a mess, and used the spoon in her left hand the whole time. I'm still uncertain with her. I know KC is right handed, and thought Zee was a lefty like Sarah and her Uncle Rod.....but guess we'll see.

So, dropped of the keys and garage remotes and kids napped for a few in van. Stopped by vet and picked up Ashlee's urn. I didn't pick it out,was too distraught. She did good tho, I like it. Just still weird, no Ashlee anymore.. 17 years...

I took a nice bath tonite, chatted w/neighbor..and now online and watching a movie at same time. Loving the DVR (tivo) and the free movies on demand are cool too..esp the kids stuff.

Not sure of the weather tomorrow, I think about the same, mid 80's perhaps.

I forgot to grab the kids blow up jump o lene thing that is out back at old place, so gonna swing by and get that and the solar light by end of driveway. I may put that out back as the front courtyard is well lit at nite.

I also want to dig up some hostas and some bulbs that i planted last year and are coming up. I had them planted at stanhope house and dug them up when moved from there as well. would like to plant the hostas near the a/c units out back. we have two seperate a/c's here. One for first floor, and one for second and third floor.

Oh.. almost forgot, finally weighed myself and i have indeed lost five or so pounds since being here! I'm sure it won't last tho, as summer nears..it is comparable to winters in MN/AK where we can't even go outside. That is why I LOVE rubbing it when our spring comes early to my yankee friends/family.. :)

Well, back to chking emails and figure out wth is going on w/my new cell...ugh...

Ok, guess I'm gonna 'try' to make this like a daily journal/blog/diary type thing again as I had been slacking for some time.

I have actually printed out the pages and guestbook and placed into a binder type/scrapbook thing so the kids can view at a later age. I need to do that again soon, as who really knows how long this will be out 'there'.

Well, the kids slept fine together last night and awoke at 6:30am...ugh...
Todd, and Sarah and bf Lee were all up too and left to the old house on Owens to set up for moving sale and clean out the house and vacuum, etc.

Took me two hours to get the kids fed, dressed dog walked and me ready just to go 3miles away.

We didn't really advertise this time, so not as many show ups. Plus, that neighborhood is all old folk mostly and so they just want tools, not all the awesome baby stuff I had.

We did have two pregnant ladies show up at same time that got some infant toys and clothes.

A man was to show up to get the weight bench, didn't, and learned sister wants it, so selling it and the wet/dry vac to her.

I placed some things on the curb and let Freecyle know that if they want to go thru the stuff, to go ahead cos trash will pick it up mon morn. The rest of the stuff, almost a garage full is being picked up on Monday from the downtown rescue mission thrift shop people. I can see all that stuff going to a landfill. It is amazing HOW much baby stuff I've accumulated over the last 6 or so years! I had 3 different baby tubs alone..why??? One I threw out, the bathtub ring, as it has been recalled and there was a person locally whose child drown cos left along for a min and it tipped over. Now, they make an arm that goes over the tub side to prevent that. I didnt want that hanging over my head, so just chucked it.

I did keep a few things that were kyla's and had some sentimental value. Like the walk/ride toy my dad got her and my other two played with, and well, were the whole time there, lol.

Anyway, after that we came home and I made some turkey sandwiches and mail came and we got2 more dvd replacements that were stole from the low life theives. So we watched Shrek and part of ET

Later, the kids played on the mini slide and w/sidewalk chalk on the patio while daddy and Lee put stuff up in the garage attic.

Just reheated my jumbalya sp? medley I made other day and todd hadn't had yet for supper.

Kids had bath and well, konor takes a shower now, lol.. and relaxed a bit and are both in bed together again. I think it's fine right now...and oh soo cute!!

Right now, todd ran to costco to get a mount to hang the plasma above the fireplace. we got it fixed the other night. It is the replacement that was stolen and only lasted a week. and is on the floor right now where a dog/kid could bump into, so we 'really' need to get it up.

the neighbors are out in the courtyard drinking wine and beer and playing guitar, I'm thinking of joining in a min. My baby monitor works great here.

I guess my day sounds pretty boring, but I really didn't sit much. during the movies, I did some laundry, cleaned the kitche, swept patio, brushed dog out, unpacked a few new boxes and unloaded/loaded dishwasher...And referred the kids.

Oh, the dog...he is doing ok so far, no longer pulls on leash, stops at curbs now and sits :) and bumps his nose to one of the doorknobs when needs out!! :) Tho, he has become completely attached to me and ea time I get up to do anything he has to follow and once I went out to take out the trash and he whimpered the entire time todd said. He is getting worse too and I read in the GSD book that they are prone to seperation anxiety.

He broke two leashes today that I used to tie him up to door/tree at other house. ugh...they were from a dollar general and not meant for a big dog, so I guess I gotta invest in a nice leash/lead and a tie out again.

well, gonna drink some wine and maybe have myself a bubble bath in the huge jacuzzi tub..

but first, gonna walk dwn to washington sq and see what the 'action' is and maybe see some fireworks from Panoply going on.

Today I took Konor to school and then went to a do it urself carwash and cleaned/vacuumed out my van then washed it.

went grocery shopping...

then later got kc from school and came home, made lunch..

Then Auntie Melissa came over w/her new boxer dog, Charlie. He was a lil apprehensive at first, but then he and Azazel got along GREAT. they wrestled and ran together. We all walked to playground where there were some kids this time and they all admired the dogs.
then we walked over to sonic and got some smoothies. the weather was ok, and about 70.

zily was so worn out that she passed out on sofa for nearly 3hrs and was impossible to wake up!

tonight, the kids are both sleeping in zee's double bed cos I put the canopy up and they think it is a tent, lol. I just cked on them, sooo cute!

finally sitting dwn to check emails and bills online..

whew!

what a past week or so!

We are moved in...yea!

I LOVE this place, the neighbors, and being downtown, and the lil kids for mine to play with daily.

Weather has been iffy...hot days, muggy nights...cool mornings on some.

Just been soo busy it's impossible for me to fill in right now.

I just got internet and cable back today. New company, so all the channels are different.

Had a 'scare' with Zee where we thought she ate some Paxil rx meds...so I called poison control and they told me to take her in to ped er. It sucked. she wouldn't be still for the monitors on her and I finally broke dwn when she was wailing as across the way was the room Kyla was brought into when she drown. :( I finally said, Look, I don't think she took any pills, can I refuse treatment? I live only a few blocks away, and was only a 3min drive there. gave me some run around and finally zz fell asleep..

Our life is NEVER boring.

so..this am, zily is at her door crying bad, and I got to open it and it wouldn't, so told konor to move the pic that fell. we tried to use the stupid stick things instead of nails..all began to fall today...
anyway, glass everywhere and zilya had blood all over her face,neck, arms..a bloody masacre! brought her to sink and washed her up and it was only the tiniest slice on her finger, like a paper cut.
amazing how much blood there can spill.

today got a new dog, azazel..a GSD.. he seems to be a sweetie and todd likes him too. though I know I'm the one he'll end up respecting the most.already following ME ea time I get up.

he is already learning normal obedience stuff, just from a few block walks.

well, this was already more than I've been used to typing...and so, I am tired. Life is ok...just hanging in and hanging on as always.

Well, today was a wash-out. I was to take kids to April's but...the dang storms and rain that went thru TX and MS hit us..most of the day. So, cancled the movers and went and bought a new dining table. Much needed...haven't had a new one in yrs.

I will just be happy to take a bath in new jacuzzi tub 2morrow evening and sleep in clean egyptian cotton sheets. I laundered all ours. And now working on kids bedding. We're all sleeping on almost bare beds 2nite.

We decided that we're gonna move rachel's/guest bed which is pretty new and nice matress into kids room, for zilya. I got a bed rail from 'trader' last week.
Konor is gonna have a twin in his room/space and rachel too probably.

well, better get some rest, busy day ahead..

April 12th at 10:12 am Ashlee closed her eyes for the last time. She was almost 17yrs old. I should receive her ashes/urn next week.

I was informed that Sarah heard someone trying to open her door last night around 2-4am. Her bf grabbed a bat, but whomever it was, was gone and they heard a motor (car) start.

Why do they keep messing with us?

Oh, that's right, cos Huntsville has one of the highest crime rates in the nation and more cops then they know what to do with,but, they do NOTHING.....

I've lost all ambition to pack...but I have to.

Well, got a lot accomplished today in ways of packing. I'd say I'm about half way done.

Konor woke at like 2am w/a fever of 103 and his cheeks were bright red and heart was racing. I ended up giving him children's advil and water and brought him to bed with us. He slept in to 10am, which is crazy as he normally wakes around 6:30/7am.

He was tired most of the day, but it began to go back up around six pm. 39...oh, well, my ear thermoter is in celsius and never figured out all these years to change to F..so just learned how to convert. That is about 102.
Ugh, don't know if he'll be going to school tomorrow or what now. I hope so, cos Zily has gymnastics, and she missed her first class last week and is excited to go.

Friend April, and 4yo Ella came by today to buy some things for her sister's new baby boy. She says she is willing to help and watch the kids when we move.

I think I'm gonna call and see if they can come here to watch KC while Zee goes to gymnastics...I dunno. Hate to have her girl get whatever he has. Konor probably would be ok sitting on bench watching her.

always something. never dull.

I can remember days when I had Kyla, being bored. But then, I didn't have groups where I had friends same aged kids or activities or school either.

I'm thinking of closing dwn Zily's site and my myspace as I don't have the time to upkeep all of these.

well, both kids were asleep by 7pm and I got to take a shower. Now todd is dwn stairs with me packing. He said he was impressed how much I'd done today. Now it's my 'work' time on pc and he is doing some packing.

Normally I pack the inside, todd does outside stuff and garage.

this is so crazy, cos not just dealing w/packing, but cops, moving sale, giving away cats, and now sarah freakin' found a beagle last nite..so trying to find it's owner...ugh.

The Run Around

ok, so called number det Cook gave me to call after hours to report loss. But was told by officer Braggart that he can't deal w/burglury.
He gave me some run around and own opinions that mean shit to me at this point. I complain about the system and he chuckles. wtf?

Even those that work for it don't agree. I know I'm not talking mass murder here, but wth? I could end like that if they don't do their jobs.

A cop could kill todd, or 'suspect' could kill/hurt one of us....
I swear it's a conspiricy just to have certain CSI type shows on TV.

I'm tired of living in fear. Today, w/ zily on hip, I crossed bend and saw sarah/lee w/stuff in hands taking into house. They just got home and I screamed and reached for pepper spray. He was like woah
at my first glance I only saw someone stealing. these punks are taking things whenever they want. Neighbors don't care, they got alarm systems put in recently now and blame sarah/friends...why? b/c of how she looks. total bs and that pisses me off too.
are we all to be drones??

These theives are jock like and young and someone you wouldn't think if you're a stupid ignorant fool.
THAT is what's bothering me.. Cops do not care, not niggers/druggies, etc or whatever.
still we're not allowed to be scared of a redneck christian?

what is wrong w/this town, state, country???

well, off to bed and hopefully rest a bit.

Protect your own and don't count on anyone else to.

Well, they did it again, ripped us off. Todd thought he had heard noises last night, but assumed it was just sarah coming back from trip as we were expecting her to arrive around 2,3am.

As Todd went into the garage to leave for work, he immediatly noticed that the leaf blower had been taken.

We know who these punks are, cops know who they are, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is being done about it. No investigator has returned a call to us. And each time it is a different cop on the scene. I'm debating wether or not to even bother calling again.

This is freaking insane and I just know it is not going to end well. :(

sarah: well, talked to investigator Cook finally. He is very familur w/the case and there is also investigator Nance working on it as well. Will be notified asap when they get Josh Davis and prosecute him. Thing is, he is a juvinile, so nothing will really happen to him. But Cook says he's going to be as tough as he can on this punk.
I stressed concern that there are others involved and apparently he told me they are also looking into another person, but would not tell me his name. I know Josh is scared and won't come back here, but it was his cousin and sister and some black guy that actually stole from us. I don't know their ages tho.
I guess it is just a sit n wait game right now. I just hope Todd isn't the one catching these fools again cos things might not end as easily.

I just can't wait to move, at least the place is gated, but what is wierd is that we are in sight of the summit apts where his family lives...

Dolores: I can not beleive this keeps happening What are the cops problems

Konor took his very first shower tonite. He loathes bathes and water in his eyes. but..amazingly, the shower on his head, dripping onto his face didn't phase him. He was so proud..

Well, last mon I took zee for her 2yr ck up, was like 10/15mins late..and they told me I'd either have to wait a few hrs for an open slot or cancel and put on waiting list. Well, I was 30mins from home, so, that was agravating in itself, driving the freeway, wasting gas, to not be seen. I opted to bail out and try n find a new ped. I asked around, but the one place isn't taking new patients. Then yesterday, I get call they have an opening at 10:45 and told me to be 10mins early. It was NEVER like this! Todd had been seing cartwright (their ped) and Denny since moved here 14yrs ago. His ex Karen used to be a lab tech for them. Now they have 2 other dr's and just added a third this past week or so.
Today I got there at 10:30 and waited.. talked to some other moms/dads...listened to their complaints, etc. The woman w/a 2mo daughter told me that they said she had ear infection and gave her a lethal dosage of meds yesterday, luckily the pharmacist caught it. It was the new female dr.

At 10:35, a woman w/3day baby came in for a weight check. She was seen before me.
Then we get called back around 11am and there are no rooms avail. They weighed/measured zilya and put us in a supply type room, where zee immediatly started pulling formula cans off shelves and in cubboards about to grab hemostats! I said this isn't gonna work, so was sent out to well lobby to fill out the denver form.
Meanwhile the lady w/the 2mo girl was called back. I filled out form, and was like..hmmm??? So went back and was like??? um, where did you put that lady w/the 2mo girl? Diff nurse, so, she was confused...I was getting pretty irritated. She ended up putting us in a 'sick' room and said "you'll be ok"
I took some blocks out of cubboard and began watching the time. 10mins passed. No one.. So opened door and no one seemed to know what was going on. errr.
I just left clipboard on table and walked out. No one seemed to notice or care, and I'm sure we'll be charged for the visit.
When back in the lobby, I told the father of my experience....loudly, and about the woman and misdosage of meds. I wish I only had the guts to tell someone off, I wished todd was there. This is my 3rd ped...all with similar issues.
So, I'm done with them.. I found another referral and called, taking new patients. A one woman practice. and is in town, so hopefully we'll have a better experience.

before all this, I took konor to an allergist. It was impossible. kids wouldn't behave.. If was just one of them, they can both act well. I could barely hear the dr, much less trying to understand his accent (foreign) He went thru a LONG list of questions, which was nice b/c konor's ped never did and just put him on singular. Albeit, helping. He did a 'scratch' test, and was fine there. So, am going to schedule an apt for the skin tests. Might wait till nxt mo, after moving. I haven't any time this week yet but to pack 4 boxes in zily's room.

Well, long story short.. tried to go on vacation but house was broken into twice, robbed. So, cut that short. And on way back, van broke down in B'ham rush hour and pulled off exit which was a bad area.
Well, filed insurance claims and should start receiving replacements soon. Just hoping that it is the same.
And in the midst of all this, our lease is up, so we have to move. We looked at a bunch of places and decided apon a townhome downtown. It is beautiful. However, this afternoon we are meeting at a home that Peter may buy and let us rent from him. But..he has to go to CO soon, so not sure how fast this can happen. It is a 5bd/full basement, deck/jacuzzi, brick and in lovely area. I guess we'll see what happens with that.

This morning the kids went to the dentist for the 1st time. cyberdentist.com if you want to check it out. Pretty cool.
Konor did great! Did say he had a lil plaque on his bottom front teeth, but no cavities. Also that his teeth are going to be crowded.. like sarah/rachel, and me. And does have a lil overbite, but nothing major. He'll probably need braces or have teeth pulled eventually to make room. I expect that.
Zilya did pretty good too. No cavities either. And said her teeth were beautiful. Talked about her thumb sucking and said not an issue as of yet. If she is at age four, we'll work on trying to get her to stop.
They go back in 6mos and he will do an x ray on Konor then, and possibly a flouride treatment.

Both got to pick out toys. Zily got a barbie phone and konor got binoculars.

Konor has an apt at allergist thursday..
And oh, Zily starts gymnastics tomorrow.

So, I guess that is about it for now.
