  well, things are getting better. Tho Todd is jet lagged and took today off to sleep.
  
  Laptop is in 'shop' and so using todd's, sharing w/Sarah. the Keyboard stinks and jumps around and hard to push some keys. ugh.
  
  weather was warm today, 70 and was over 60 this am taking konor to school. first thing asked was where was his jacket? I was like, it is warm out. Well , he didn't get to go outside today and wouldn't borrow a jacket either. I'm gonna call the director/pres of school. I am mad. It was freaking seventy degrees outside! The kids were sweating. Gad, I remember wearing shorts if it was above fifty out!!!
  
  I HATE that when it comes to the south. And then in summer, everyone wears pants cos in A/C all the time. Which THAT should be wrong if you look at it the way they are. argh...
  
  Gonna be a lil cooler tomorrow, but taking kids to park anyway.. You know, it's gonna be in sixties..burr, LOL, um, yeah, right.

  So we get to the airport yesterday and find out his plane was delayed. :( So had to park in garage. And tried to keep the kids entertained by going up and down on the escalators. Daddy finally arrives and the kids don't recognize him as his hair was longer and he has a full beard/moustache.
  
  Those who don't know, he had been gone a lil over 5 wks. He flew out to HI for 2 days and then jumped on the Dove for five days.. Where he was confifned in a prison like room not aloud on deck. Finally caught up w/the SBX and taking by crane and lifted danerously on board. There he remained doing missle defense work. Went thru a hurricane w/60ft swells of waves and 100mph winds. We had limited contact for some time, but finally were able to IM at nite.
  
  Anyway, when we came home we saw tree cutters out front. We rent. Apparently the owner sent them out and our 'land lady' who is a real estate agent didn't know either. These men made a horrid mess, ruined every single landscape lighting, bounced large limbs off the roof and nearly hitting one window. Then crash and spark, they dropped limb on the power lines and bounced off my stepdaughters friends car. Transformer blew, and also ripped cable from the house. It was nearing sunset. 1st utilities on scene and the guys bailed..as they are not insured/bonded. Neighbors come out. Whole street is out. finally get pwr back by 7pm, but no cable cos too dangerous for him to fix in dark. So, no phone, internet/tv. Did get antena hooked up to HD TV and got quite a few channels. And watched a DVd.
  
  Land Lady did call to apologize this am. but kinda stunk because hubby hadn't watched his HDtv in over a month,lol.
  
  Can laugh now, but was an agravating welcome home.
  
  Anyway, just glad to have him home safe and to be able to finally take a vacation in two years nxt month...
