Well, 1st things 1st, I failed my 3hr GTT on Sat and now have GD. Check out my journal @ www.zilyafaye.com
Too bad, so sad.. Steelers Lost! :( Guess I'm gonna have to route for the Eagles now.
We had Konor's 1st Birthday Party yesterday. It snowed, or dusted that morning. Went pretty well, though missing a few important friends, ahem, (Bobbie,Frankie, Danielle and Rachel) But all have good excuses..soo.. I didn't want a big party anyway. Konor napped luckily b4 and was fun all day. Still waiting on our 'main' gift in mail. I got him this keyboard thing w/software for ages 9mos-3yrs. And gift from Pappy.

Busy day... Had to wait about 45mins @ dr this am. Another in there w/ a 1yo and due nxt week. I gained 7lbs!(in 2 wks!)And still measuring about a wk ahead. And... I failed my 1hr gtt! Said like it to be under 140 and I was 148. So, off I go to for the 3hr. I'd either like Todd to go w/me or stay home w/baby, that is just too long. Esp after today. He did good though. Then we went to get tag/title taken care of finally for dh's car (in my name) So, yea, finally got a tag for it..only been 3mos,lol.. Then met Todd for lunch @ Ruby Tuesdays and Konor actually ate 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwhich! Then he cried the 30 min ride home, trying to fall asleep. We laid on couch for almost an hr, and he didn't want to sleep... Now, he has figured out how to open the doors on antique sewing machine! Blame that on Daddy for opening it last nite! lol I also learned my doc will deliver at the other (private) hospital. I wanted to deliver Konor there b/c I didn't want to go to same place Kyla died. But now glad I didn't cos he was in NICU. And if this baby has to go, she'll go to HH and I'd have to stay @ the private one... so, since I"m now prereg and it is super close, gonna stick w/HH then. Based on feeling, she hasn't turned... This kid is throwing us for a loop this time!

Nothing new or real exciting going on. Konor seems to have a cold, but no fever, so that is good. It is the 1st time he's been remotely ill since that rsv crap shortly after his birth. I'm glad, some kids get sick soo often.

Konor is still not walking, but the past few days he has really tried to let go and do it on his own. I'm surprised he isn't by now, but not worried, cos 13.5mos is the national average, and I know a few that are 15 and 16mos still not walking. I'd say by 12.5mos, but who really knows?

Same goes for teeth. None yet. Though his top two are somewhat visable, but have yet to break on through..to the other side! LOL.

Trying to get his one year pictures done later this week or early next. As soon as this red spot on his cheek completely goes away. And no more runny nose!

Doing great on the whole milk, no reactions. And takes mostly whole milk w/about 2 oz of formula in sippy cup in morning and afternoon. Still mostly formula in bedtime bottle. I'll wean him off that after his bday, I guess.

Eating pretty good too. Has either a waffle, cereal, ie: cheerios, corn chex, or Life for breakfast. And we retried instant oatmeal yesterday and he ate 1/2 of the pkg! I found a hamberhelper he really enjoys also. Has rice in it.

Sleep... Konor sleeping rather well. Bed by 7:30. Seems if we go any later, and he could, he'll wake earlier, soo. He is deff a paci kid, so I put like 5 extras in crib for him to find when he wakes in middle of nite. Working out great.

As for me and baby Zily.. doing fine. Some sore back/hip, sciatica every now and then, and I assume it is from lugging around 20+lbs of Konor on opposite hip. Baby is moving all the time and I seem to have stabled in weight gain for now. I go back to dr Thursday. Every two weeks now. I get an ultrasound @ 37 wks to check position, and hopefully she'll have moved head down. As of now, I doubt it, cos I don't feel any change in where I feel movement.

Nothing else to report right now.

Found this poem today and wanted to share:
Daddy's Little Man

I watched him as he glanced up,
To look at Daddy's face,
He walked a little faster
To keep up with the pace.

I watched him as he reached out,
and took his Daddy's hand
Trying to do everything like him
And be Daddy's little man.

I listened to his questions,
Asked in baby talk
Daddy answered as best he could
as they continued with their walk.

You could tell he started to tire,
For it was plain to see
He stopped and held up his little arms,
And said "Daddy Please hold me".

Daddy grinned and picked him up,
carried him awhile without a peep,
Held his little boy close to him...
For Daddy's little man had fallen
fast asleep.

Let's see, a lot to update since last wrote. Pappy came to visit. It was pretty cold then. Kinda sad we didn't get to spend as much time w/him as liked. Maybe he and Linda will stay w/us when Zily bean is born. Oh yeah, we found out we're having a girl, pretty sure anyway. Check out her site, www.zilyafaye.com
Weather has been crazy warm, near 70 or above. Running a/c in vehicles and sometimes in house to cool it down. Now, @ 8:30am it is already 60 degrees out and I have a few windows open in the house.
Sarah and Rachel were here for about a week or more. Nice to see them.
Got Konor's playroom fixed up, celing fan/light in there now and the 19" tv is in, but need to wait on cable guy on thurs cos that cable is being run thru wall to pc. Can't split it to do both apparently. It's nice cos I have baby gate and the plugs are up in middle of wall, so I feel he is pretty safe to be in there while I go bathroom or something. We got a 27" Tv/dvd/vcr combo for girls room/basement. Adn todd hung shelf to have it up in corner. Also got them a microwave and can opener for dwn there.
Getting pretty big, tho same size I was exactly this time w/Konor. Makes it hard to carry him over gate up steps to bath. Also been getting some sciatica pain in my left hip/butt/leg I presume it is cos I carry Konor on my opposite hip. Maybe a chiropractor will help??
Yesterday Todd and I got a new mini van (see pics) It is really nice, got the 2 captain chairs in middle.
Konor doing good too. Still not walking yet, and has 2 top teeth about to come thru, visible, but haven't yet. Don't see the bottom ones. Kyla had her tops ones in 1st too. Odd, but oh well.
Konor can now finally clap his hands and say uh-oh and mumma and dadda and all done! He seems to be growing and changing overnite.. No longer my lil baby! :( Hard to believe that in 3.5 wks he'll be one! He is down to only one bottle a day now, and that isn't always. I been giving him 1/2 & 1/2 of whole milk and formula in bottle and sippy cups. Seems to be doing ok w/it. He is eating better too. More adult food like mini waffles in am and mac n cheese, etc.. tho I still feed him jars occasionally and yogurt or applesauce cups. He has learned to put things in things and is starting to self feed w/spoon and bowl.
