We had to take daddy to airport this morning. He is going to Peru w/the Huntsville Maranatha people, helping build a school. I miss him already. Your sisters left today also and the house is quiet and clean! We had to pull off the road after leaving daddy, b/c one of ky's songs came on and mum cried and cried. I stopped at the elem school, got you out and we danced and cried and hugged really hard. I love you sooo much Konor, don't ever leave us!
I talked to your nanny Kinley too today, and heard cousin Justin had a fall. Aunt Sherri tripped at her new house construction and dropped him. He had a slight concusion but had Xrays and a brain scan to make sure that was all. I haven't talked to her yet, I hear she was pretty freaked out.

Just got back from lunch @ Ruby Tuesday's in the mall. Met up w/Danielle and her daughter Kelsey, and baby Reni.
Some guy stopped b/c he read the back of my car. I was a lil freaked at first, but Dani was right there stopped in her van. He just wanted to know what happened to Kyla and what mfwsc was.

Went to Lake Guntersville. National Water Safety & Remembrance Day! Release balloons for Kyla. Had a nice picnic lunch, and even got Konors feet in the sand/water.

Mommy made Konor homemade baby food today! :) We have this pear tree out back (used to have an apple tree until a bad storm) So I picked, peeled, washed and added 100%pear juice and one apple into blender on puree, and wow, yummy! I froze some for later. And added some cinnamon to mine! Good, and I don't really like pears! Ok, now I'm gonna make bananas, much cheaper way, and better if organiclly grown if you ask me!!

Konor is advancing sooo much these past few days! He is rolling both ways and all over the floor! He is trying hard to crawl and sit unassisted! He is holding his bottle and drinking from a sippy cup now! He is a lil over 17lbs too. So much ahead of Kyla was. He still sleeps lil during the day, but will be content alone for a bit of time. (but never alone on floor) I moved our bed so he can have more floor space when I need to be in there. He still takes mini naps, but I read that wakeful babies tend to be more intelligent, go figure! He does so many things a six mo old should do and he isn't even 6mos yet. He is such a happy guy, and still ok w/strangers. I know that the seperation anxiety and and stranger anxiety stage is coming up in a few mos too. Still no teeth, but like I've said b4, me and kyla and i think even todd didn't get any till close to or after 12mos. No biggy, doesn't interfere w/his eating. He does pretty well trying to feed himself now too! He is just growing madly, even since our PA trip. He is more demanding now, but thats ok, I LOVE HIM! :)

Well today is 8 years since I moved to Alabama! Oye! Konor and I went shopping this am, and again this afternoon to Babies R Us. I bought him another 'big boy car seat' He outgrew his baby seat and was in Kyla's big seat for the pa trip. I was tired of moving the big one back n forth from the car and van. So, this one is staying in the van, which I'll be driving more often again. :) Konor was a big flirt, and loved trying out like 5 different seats until I found one I really liked and was easy to manuver. I also got him a pair of 'basketball' shorts, lol, two shirts that match it, a hat, and a new sleep sack. I went thru some of Ky's boy clothes and found a few things that'll fit him. He is so big, and can fit into 6-12mos size clothes. I put away even more 3-6mos clothes in a box for the attic.

It is hard to believe anyone up north can say it is 'humid' They just don't know until they come dwn here! Today Konor got up early, so we went ahead and got Roxy from the kennel. She sure did miss us! The squirrel is doing well, coming n going on own now, and even got a friend in the pine by deck. I'm glad, must be liberating 4 her!
More errands to run tomorrow and more laundry to do...Missed my friends call, hopefully we'll talk tomorrow.
Must sleep now.

WE'RE HOME!! And it is NASTY STINKING HOT!! We have been gone for over a week. 1St was up to Pittsburgh. Got to the zoo, station square where we went shopping, rode the incline, ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, took pics on mt. Washington. Visited w/friends, Tracy and her hubby and baby Heidi who is about a wk younger and her daughter,Teagan. Also saw Aunt Audie two times, and Mary whom I used to bsit for way back when. Got to put red white n blue flowers on my moms grave, and took a pic, but it musta got deleted somehow from my camera, :(
Last Friday, we drove up to Dubois and visited for a lil while w/my Brother, Ron and his wife, Debby. Then drove another 2.5hrs to Coudy to be w/Todd's family. Todd, me and the baby got a room in town while the girls stayed w/nanny and pap. Saturday, his bro, Dave, and Sherri and their baby, Justin came from NY. That nite we saw fireworks in Galeton (sp?, not sure of town) We all had fun w/ the babies together who deff look related. They were so adorable! Konor was all smiles! I was so happy he let so many hold him. His 2nd cousin, Kenny was there (6yo) and his parents, Jake and Steph, (todd's nephew) Sunday Todd's sis, becky came down from upstate NY. And of course Roddy was there. All was missing was brother Jack, who lives in MN.
We all took turns riding the (four wheeler) Quad. And got to shoot some guns. I went deaf for nearly a day!!! Luckily the babies were no where near!! It rained on the actual 4th, but the weather held up nice all around otherwise. It took us two days of driving up, stopping in Louieville, Ky and two days back. Last night we stayed (got two rooms) in Cinci. Konor was pretty crabby today from about Nashville to home.
He got some gifts from both families.
Just glad to be 'home' but not in Al a freaking bama!! ugh!!
