Well, it was a little cloudy, but we managed to spend the day together as a family, once again! We went to garden of the gods, very cool, and beautiful! And we fell apon this place that has indian cliff dwellings! Very cool. So, finally we did it, took the scary drive to Pikes Peak! It was very very cool! Todd and I giggled like school kids, as the road was quite scary. turned into dirt, and twisty, turny, and many times felt like we'd fall of the edge of the earth! Of course, KC slept thru it all, but who knows, he may be the youngest to go to top!
Well, our trip has come to a close, and we will be flying out tomorrow at 11:19am arriving in Huntsville at 4:19pm! Todd is checking all the luggage so I don't have to lug it a mile to van. If he isn't too far behind on his flight Konor and I may just hang out at airport bar till he comes in! I miss my doggies, and heard they miss me too, as they've been doing a few 'bad' things. Just checked out the weather at home, and pretty much the same as here, so...
till then, then!
oh, konor slept over 8 hrs last night! woo whoooo!!1

Another beautiful day here in Colorado Springs! Gonna be near 80 today, and as always, sunny, sunny!
Last night Todd and I went shopping. Went to the Gymboree store and he picked out an outfit for Konor. Too cute! but I couldn't believe the total price, oh my!
Todd will most likely have off tomorrow, so, more sight-seeing and picture taking!
Oh! Konor slept 7 1/2 hrs straight last night, the longest yet! You go boy! :)

konor took his first plane ride! we left h'ville sat to colorado springs, co. he did great, as did i! met todd who had been here since the previous monday. i changed my flight, and i will be staying longer now. the rockies are beautiful, but all the snow on them is practically nill now. very pretty though. i brought the warm weather, almost 80 here today, so i went and got a short sleeved shirt and capris. hope it stays this nice. cool at night though. very dry here, compared to h'ville. seems my skin can't take it, and i'm slathering on the aquaphor, b/c of chaffing. it sucks. i can't tell if my face is sun or wind burned. probably both. very windy here. go figure? we will be moving to a nicer hotel wed, suite, w/fridge, etc.. so that'll be nice to 'cook' for self instead of eating lunch at bennigans or mac grill...getting expensive,lol. todd is busy at wk way far away, so won't see him much during wk. glad we had at least sunday together, and hope we will have this wknd too. i miss my pets, sorta, lol! bobbie is taking care of them for us. konor is eating the powder formula, and it seems to make him spit up, he never spit up before. i hope to change to ready to feed once we switch hotels. also, it may be altitude sickness? went to zoo, high altitude. and i was dizzy, then later read about it in hotel room brochure. hmm? i've never been out west or this high of altitude before, so who knows? feel fine now, but it was weird...vertigo,,,
will update more soon, and hope to add some pics also..

Konor had a 'minor' accident today. I had him buckled in carseat on kitchen chair, getting ready to leave. I turned to put bottles in diaper bag, and his car flipped, face first on floor. I freaked, and all the 911 thoughts of kyla ran thru my head, I kep t saying, "omg, omg, i killed him" I flipped him over and hurried to get him out as he began his scream... I held him, put paci in and just kept saying, "mommy's sorry, mommy's sorry" He got a lil swollen on eyebrow and under eye and got a scratch. I was worried about concusion, so i called dr..and took him in 2hrs later. yes, paranoid mommy is back.. lol.. he's fine.. but still i won't do that again! and now after knowing a mom who's child died from falling from shopping cart to pavement.. ugh! :(... I just get soo freaked now.. the old me w/ky, woulda been like, no biggy, you're fine.. but not anymore! I'm so scared i'll lose him too! :( Please, oh please don't let anyone take my baby boy away!!!

Burr, it was chilly today! Went to dr for my 6wk post partum chk up. All is well. I still haven't gotten a period.. Maybe soon? hmm... Of course the nurse, Sandy and receptionist, Jo ooohed and awwed over him! I gave a picture for the 'wall of fame' too! I will miss going to the dr reg.. they became such a part of my life, sad to see it go.. but.. i have to go back in a month for my pap so.. and who knows, maybe we'll get pg sooner this time! Ya never know!

today was warm and tomorrow, gonna be about 72! Crazy!
Nothing real exciting going on... Big sis, Sarah is here w/us as she is on spring break. KC is 5wks today!

Rachel's mom is doing better :), havent heard from dani yet about reni.
weather is nice and we went out today. konor doing wonderful! what a joy he is!
